South Africa and Rwanda established a Joint Commission of Cooperation (JCC) which covers the following areas: Defence, Safety and Security, Correctional Services, Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Revenue Services, Trade and Industry, Health, Water Affairs and Forestry, Public Services and Administration, Justice, Science and Technology, Education, Agriculture, Transport, Minerals and Energy and Communications. 

Vision, Mission, and Mandate

Full diplomatic relations were established between South Africa and Rwanda in May 1995. Our mission is to provide political and economic analysis to support both bilateral and multilateral relations between Rwanda and South Africa while protecting Rwanda’s interests, and our nationals residing in the countries we are accredited respectively in Namibia, Madagascar, Mauritius and The Kingdom of Lesotho.

Rwanda High Commission ( Consular Section )

We provide and answer all your enquiries regarding the consular services provided by the High Commission in Pretoria through the consular Section of the Embassy, including issuing E-Passports, Visas, consular cards, One-way travel documents, commercial documents and registrations and other transactions.
