Legalization of documents

1. Legalization is carried out to certify a document or documents so that they can be recognized by the legal system of a foreign country; in this case Rwanda. 

2. REQUIREMENTS FOR DOCUMENTS TO BE LEGALIZED:
• Documents are required to have a signature and seal from a South African Notary office under the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa that the relevant checks have been carried out.

3. All Applications for legalization of documents are done via IremboGov under “Foreign Affairs Consular services"
