Legalization of documents

1. Legalization is carried out to certify a document or documents so that they can be recognized by the legal system of a foreign country in this case Rwanda and this mostly applies to International Commerce.

2. REQUIREMENTS FOR DOCUMENTS TO BE LEGALIZED:
• Documents are required to have a signature and seal from a South African Notary office under the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa that the relevant checks have been carried out.
• Proof of Payment of R 100.00 per document deposited into the Rwanda Embassy Bank account:
